The wife and I just got back from an awesome trip to Vegas. It was so great. We flew in on a Friday night and came home on Monday evening.
It was a late honeymoon, b-day, and a visit to my grandparents all rolled into a fantastic time. I'll eventually have to put up more pictures on here, but if you follow me on social media, there are some there as well. We had a ton of fun and I don't even know where to start. Awesome hotel room with both a gigantic bed and hot tub that we would've spent the whole time in if we didn't have plans. Seeing my grandparents was really nice because we don't get to see each other that often since we live in different states. They have really sweet pets that we fell in love with. We played a lot of games, which is one of my favorite things on Earth to do. Wife and I went to a couple really cool attractions/shows. The Secret Garden Dolphin and Big Cat Habitat was the shit. A bunch of my top favorite animals all in one place and they are treated well and not made to perform or anything. We saw Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity show. Holy shit. That was a phenomenal performance. Now I know why Cirque is so popular and successful. I want to read more about Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque. I've watched him play poker before because I'm such a poker fan so I've heard a bit of his story -which is really cool- but I need to read more. Vegas is one of my 3 favorite cities. They just have everything. Good food, great experiences. It's adult Disneyland. Can't wait to go again.

In one of Anthony Robbins' books, he introduces the concept of CANI - Constant And Never-ending Improvement. It's something I've really taken to heart. Great satisfaction can be found in improving yourself. It's one of the best parts of life. There is a reason self-actualization is at the top of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. We are happiest and most fulfilled in life when striving for and reaching our full potential. On our journey to better ourselves, our commitment to continually and consistently improving ourselves is the key. Always be learning and growing. Don't let yourself stagnate. That's the road to depression and pain. On my journey, there is so much I want to learn, sometimes it can be overwhelming. I've just got to keep chipping away everyday. Here are a few of the books I'm reading right now. (For free thanks to the awesomeness of the library - Thanks for that, Andrew Carnegie.) I'm always reading a ton of books and doing courses and other things to learn and improve. What are you reading/learning right now? Let me know in the comments.
The concept of the VRIN Score is something I learned from Tai Lopez. It's a tool you can use to analyze your business. Your start out by giving yourself a score of 1-10 for each of these categories:
Then you add up the 4 scores and dived by 4 to average them out to your total VRIN Score, the higher you score, the better.
Use this relatively easy to get a good idea where you are. Just remember to be honest with yourself. (Take off those rose colored glasses for a minute.) Good luck on your Journey To Better! |
