There are so many options today, it's a blessing and a curse.
Figuring out what to do (for a living in particular) can be extremely overwhelming. I've always wanted to do a million things at once. My Shiny Object Syndrome is pretty sever. I'm really excited because I have finally chosen a path to focus on. (Reminding myself that I can change my mind, adjust, or even add things later is helping.) I'm going to focus my efforts on reselling for the time being. (Maybe let myself dabble with stuffs hustles eventually.) That and documenting my journey. That's it. All the other opportunities (like copywriting and voice work) will be there later. I'm pretty stoked to have finally actually decided what I'm going to focus on. Someday, I want to have my own show (prob onYouTube) where I interview interesting as inspiring people. But right now, just creating content around documenting my journey will help me get good at content production for that show in the future. Now, I'm gonna start crushing this flipping game!

Yesterday, I went to the celebration of life/"fun"-eral of a woman named Lisa. She was one of my wife's friends' mother. It was the biggest funeral I've ever been to. Around 700 people attended, and those were just the people who could make it! What a testament to how she lived. She impacted so many lives. Over and over, stories were told about how she helped people. I was lucky enough to meet Lisa a couple times. The last time I saw her, she was missing an arm and still gave me one of the best hugs ever. I hope I can have even a fraction of the positive impact she did. What a great example of a life well lived. Thank you, Lisa.
Woohoo! Made my first sale on eBay today! I don't know why I didn't try to sell on eBay before this, but I'm so happy to be starting. (Thanks to Gary Vee's #2017FlipChallenge ... Which I'm starting really late.) This first sale for the Flip Challenge is a book I got from a thrift store for $1 and I sold it for $50! Pretty dang cool. I've got a long way to go, and a lot to learn, but this is a fun start |
